Job Title: Consultant – Assistant, Digital Optimization Operations

A little bit about our team:

The Digital team at Atlantic Records is a full-service, agency-like marketing team, dedicated to building artist careers through the intersection of music and technology. We are responsible for all digital strategy and marketing for all artists on the roster, acting as artist partners in our 360 relationships, across music, touring, merch, and all other aspects of the artist career. Through creative marketing campaigns, we build online and mobile fan communities, with an eye towards evolving the way that fans listen to, participate in, and purchase music and related products. We create, market and optimize content, develop and implement CRM/fan acquisition strategies, and work with new, engaging digital platforms and startups.

Your role:

This role is the intersection of content, operations, marketing and production; you will have your hands in a lot of different areas. You should have an understanding of production and distribution of video content and can navigate the backend of YouTube, TikTok, Meta and other social platforms with ease. You will be working closely with our Digital Marketing team, Product Managers, and our Video Production teams helping to streamline all of our content and optimize for distribution.

Here you'll get to:
• You will be responsible for the daily operations of multiple Artist video channels - managing and optimizing uploads to increase fan engagement, working with our scheduling team to coordinate feed deliveries, and executing internal media buys to ensure successful ad campaign deliveries
• You will work with the Digital Marketing team and Product Managers to help identify key content pieces to support each release or leverage trending moments
• You will coordinate claiming requests on applicable channel level assets as needed
• You will become an expert in the latest video platform product updates, features, and policies to implement best practices and communicate with our various marketing teams
• You will organize and present video analytics and ad campaign data for strategic performance
• You will drive revenue for multiple business objectives (streaming, e-commerce, touring, etc.)
• You will consult artist / management teams regarding planning, tracking, and delivery of campaigns while establishing label / artist conversion benchmarks across ad networks
• You will craft engagement campaigns and develop data-driven strategies to optimize performance, boost views, engagement, and followers

About you:
• BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Economics, or similar
• 1-2 years' relevant experience working with music based video channels (relevant internships count!)
• Familiarity of best practices for SEO and discoverability on YouTube, Meta, and other video platforms
• Knowledge of optimization tools (TubeBuddy, VidIQ) and analytical tools (Excel, Tableau)
• Demonstrated results in growing revenue and developing audiences across marketing and advertising efforts
• Proven excellence in prioritization, time management, and follow up skills with an attention to detail in a fast paced environment

We'd love it if you also had:
• YouTube Music Certification and AdSense / monetization knowledge
• Understanding of YouTube / Meta Content ID and digital rights management
• Familiarity in Google Ads / Meta Business Manager and other self-service ad platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Passionate about music and technology/digital trends

Salary Range
$17.95 to $19.49 Hourly

Salary Ranges are included for all NY, California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
