The Job

This position primarily takes direction from the CNN assignment desk and field production to transport on air talent, production essentials and equipment to various sites in the metro DC area including the White House, Congress, SCOTUS, The Pentagon, State Department and more. Any time not occupied by supporting newsgathering is utilized fulfilling facility support functions I.E. stocking coffee, toner, paper and other essentials, helping with beverage service to conference rooms, office relocations and general maintenance support. This position may be tasked to work on weekends, holidays and special events (breaking news coverage).

The Daily
• Transport newsgathering talent, personnel, supplies and equipment around the city
• Stock office and coffee supplies
• Perform moving and other general maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check
• Reliable, self-starter and familiar with the metropolitan DC area
• Good communication skills
• Working in a team environment

The Nice to Haves
• Facilities maintenance experience
