Sr Tour Clerk (Scheduling)

The Warner Bros Studio Tour enables fans of television and film to visit a working studio lot, and learn where and how their favorite entertainment is made. Revenue is generated through ticket sales, retail sales as well as food and beverage sales.
The Sr Tour Clerk, Scheduler is responsible to plan, staff and schedule General Clerks (Regulars) and Clerk Floaters (Dailies) according to applicable policies, standards and business requirements. Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and essential positions, meal/break periods and tracks requests for time off. Coordinates schedule/shift adjustments to optimize schedule adherence and provide overall staffing efficiencies. Adjusts schedules to reflect operational changes.
The Daily
• Administer department schedules to the General Clerks (Regulars) and Clerk Floaters (Dailies) within Tours, Admissions, Stg 48, and Action & Magic.
• Adjust department schedules
• Assist with general administrative tasks, including record-keeping, maintaining inventory of department supplies and answering phones. Prepare paperwork & email correspondence, create work orders, & assist guests as needed.
The Essentials
• HS or right combination of education and experience
• Tour guide experience preferred
• Valid CA Driver's License preferred
• Prior scheduling experience preferred
• Excel (Highly Preferred), Microsoft Outlook, Paint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving, integrity.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to understand and grasp assignments/task quickly
• Ability to build data reports and present/explain them to others.
• Ability to confidently present your side of how/why to upper management and leaders.
