The Job

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Specialist, Marketing Data for the Data Services: Global Insights & Marketing Ops department.

The Marketing Operations team has created this new role to support the areas of audience data management and tagging solutions across the Warner media organization. The Warner Media Data Intelligence team aggregates, analyzes and activates data generated from consumers across all media platforms from linear cable networks to websites and applications for marketing activations.

The Audience Analyst will be responsible for segmenting audiences via advanced SQL / Python queries from our data warehouse as well as ensuring marketing and analytics tags are accurately gathering data across our WB platforms. This role will require highly skilled collaboration from working with brand teams for understanding the architecture of newly developed platforms to aligning with engineering on data schemas. It will also require problem solving to review current workflows for efficiencies and look for new and impactful opportunities for evolving our marketing process.

This candidate must be not only technically proficient across SQL and Phython, but must be self-sufficient – managing their own projects and priorities. They will need to be extremely organized as they will work across a number of different projects and lines of business. They must be a team player and able to properly communicate to their peers and stakeholders.

The Daily
• Utilize SQL to query advanced audience segmentation within our data warehouse
• Create data collection points for key platforms: SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Bluekai, Neustar
• Provide audience validation across segmentation tools
• Review WB platforms to ensure tagging and data collection
• Maintain a thorough understanding of audience profiles and targeting
• Collaborate with Data Science team for campaign testing / modeling

The Essentials
• 3-5 years experience in SQL / Segmentation work
• Experience working directly with data management platforms or data warehouse products
• Entertainment experience a plus
• Collaboration between technical, marketing and business teams
• International experience a plus
• Must have experience with audience segmentation
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to document processes and outcomes clearly and effectively
• Advanced skills in Excel, Powerpoint, SQL, Python
• Familiarity with Tableau a plus
• Must be extremely well organized
• Communicate effectively with media, marketing and ad tech teams
