The Production HR team is a newly formed and dedicated to providing hands-on HR support to cast and crew working on productions across Warner Bros. Discovery content businesses. The People Partners on the Production HR team will work primarily in production environments directly supporting the people that make our content. The goal is to be a recognizable and trusted HR partner to all personnel working on a Warner Bros. Discover production. As a trusted HR partner to production, the main objective is to ensure and support a respectful, inclusive, safe and positive work environment, allowing people to thrive and do their best work.

The Senior People Partner will be responsible for establishing the Production HR operating model in LATAM, leading the production people plan across all in-house productions. They will work closely with internal teams such as Physical Production, Production Safety, Production Training, Employment Legal, People Relations and Production DE&I to design and implement robust processes, ensuring consistency of approach in providing support to a production client base which includes Executive Producers, Line Producers, Heads of Departments, cast and crew. They will be the main point of contact for third party productions, ensuring Warner Bros Discovery values and expectations are adhered to. They will partner with the LATAM People Partners who currently support Warner Bros. Discovery Productions ensuring all productions have People Partner support through the correct allocation of resource and advisory support.

Warner Bros. Discovery Productions - The Daily:
• Lead HR point of contact for LATAM Warner Bros. Discovery production cast and crew; serves as on-set/on-site HR presence for productions, both locally and on distant location. Responds to production-related inquiries regarding crew/cast concerns.
• The Senior People Partner, Productions will work closely with internal teams such as Physical Production, Production Training, Production Security, Production Legal, Employment Legal, Production Finance and People Relations to provide support to a production client base that includes executive producers, line producers, heads of departments, cast, and crew.
• Main point of HR contact for third party productions, ensuring Warner Bros Discovery values and expectations are adhered to including advising on policies and training as needed.
• Guides and coaches production leaders/HODs on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, conflict management, coaching, development, employee relations, talent and team development, and compliance, working closely with People & Culture Leaders, COEs, People Relations and Employment Legal as required.
• Manage all employee relations matters within production, working with People Relations on EEO investigations as needed.
• Partners with the relevant internal teams to conduct or participate in investigations related to workplace fraud, harassment, discrimination and safety
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to provide guidance and recommendations around industry and labour standards, including but not limited to mental health & well-being, trade union TV & Film agreements, child actors/minors on set and other applicable local and international standards
• Proactively manages and prioritizes production HR work across the LATAM People Partner team to support business needs and HR strategies/objectives
• As appropriate they will advise the local People Partner team to manage and resolve HR production issues including, but not limited to, performance management, conflict management, coaching, development, employee relations, and compensation, working closely with Talent Leaders, COEs, HRS, and Legal as required. Provides advice, coaching, counseling, and training to proactively create/maintain an inclusive, respectful and safe work environment.
• Develops, delivers and facilitates training for productions on topics related to a respectful and harassment-free work environment. Training will be delivered both in-person and via Zoom.
• Embodies our culture through behavior and interactions, and champions inclusion and diversity on the set.
• Conducts surveys to gauge cultural climate and makes recommendations for appropriate action based on findings.
• Informs the People & Culture Lead, Regional Productions as appropriate on critical or sensitive business or team/people concerns.
• Work with internal teams towards the advancement of technology in the production office, particularly relating to the collection and maintenance of employment data and onboarding production teams.
• Work with the Production Diversity Equity & Inclusion team to support internal Production teams around areas such as creating a talent pipeline, Inclusion and Diversity and training in the production space.
• Partner with internal groups on cross-functional projects, and sync practices across teams to maximize efficiency
• As needed partners with Safety and COVID Compliance Officers to support COVID policies and protocols, including tracking and tracing.
• Keeps abreast of HR trends/practices, legislation and requirements to effectively manage and communicate to production workers.
• Travels to productions on location when needed; last minute travel may be required.

Person Profile
• The ideal candidate will be flexible, focused, with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing and fast-paced challenging environment. They will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions. They will be confident in communicating with all levels of stakeholders and be able to build strong relationships with all production personnel, including, at times, high profile cast.
• This role will suit someone who excels in providing hands on operational HR support. They need to be agile and adaptable, with the ability to think on their feet, sometimes in high pressurized situations. If you are a HR professional who likes to work methodically through processes this role is probably not for you. This role is often required to work on unique issues which means that there are not always clearly defined policies and processes to follow in these situations. So, if you are comfortable working with ambiguity and want to be able to use your knowledge and expertise to define the best solutions then this role provides that opportunity.
• You will need to have good judgment with the ability to balance the needs of the company and production personnel. A key component of the role is the ability to deliver engaging and innovative training for cast and crew so you will need to be confident in your delivery of training.
