The Job

Lead the Strategy & Business Development functions for WarnerMedia Franchises, including those in the DC, Wizarding World, Looney Tunes, and Hanna Barbera brands.
Oversee valuation of brands considering strategic ambition, competitive benchmarks and historical performance. Drive KPI development and tracking. Partner with Finance Planning & Analysis to track results against targets and incorporate financial ambition into long range plans.

The Daily
• Support strategic development of WarnerMedia brands, franchises & key properties
• Collaborate on research efforts for key properties with Warner Bros. Global Insights & Analytics
• Develop valuation models for franchise ambition with key assumptions, planned ROI, risks and upside. Analyze relevant data such as competitive information, industry trends, and historical performance to develop sound forecast in support of strategic plans
• Build and maintain financial models to update the impact of initiatives in support of business cases. Functional owner of franchise financial models, including:
• Recommend key inputs based on financial levers across all WarnerMedia businesses
• Drive development of assumptions and present to key stakeholders
• Manage P&L model and develop process to link to financial forecasting & reporting
• Functional owner of franchise financial and competitive dashboard, including:
• Recommend approach based on decision drivers and competitive data
• Support development of overall franchise dashboard
• Create & manage model for financial dashboard – linking process to P&L model and financial reporting cycle
• Create & manage process for competitive KPIs
• Create & oversee the maintenance of competitive benchmark database which includes financial performance and analyst projections.
• Support developing of operating model for Franchise Development cross-function team.
• Establish and communicate processes related to strategic development, financial valuation and KPI development and monitoring.
• Support establishment of operating model with cross-functional teams in WM, including:
• Align with executives on project goals, cadence and deliverables
• Drive collaboration and effectiveness on project team
• Maintain project plans, milestone metrics and timeline
• Report out on progress, identifying any risks
• Other special projects as required.

The Essentials
• Minimum 5 years experience in consulting, strategic planning, modeling & process analysis required
• Large consulting firm (e.g., Big 4) or comparable experience required
• Experience with wide range of business case issues required
• Entertainment and/or publishing industry experience preferred
• BA/BS degree in Business or related field required
• MBA preferred
• Experience with strategy and business planning
• Very strong presentation skills required
• Very strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
• PC Skills: Strong PowerPoint, Excel & Word required
• Must be able to develop and implement projects
• Must have high ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
