The Job

The Post Production Sr. Manager will manage key creative Talent relationships and hold key one-on-one relationships with 3rd party studios. Support Post Pr oduction Services Management in tracking new feature films opportunities. Estimate/bid sound editorial and mixing opportunities.

The Daily
• Drive In-House & 3rd Party Feature films to WB PPCS (Burbank) Sound Supervisors & Re-Recording Mixers. Working relationships with Post Production Supervisors and Heads of 3rd Party Studios to inquire about upcoming projects.
• Primary Sales contact for Independent Feature Film projects. Communicate with Sound Supervisors & Re-Recording Mixers to coordinate current and changing budget needs.
• Create & Present budgets, overage estimates & labor distribution documents to Sound Supervisors to present to Client. Consistent communication that projects do not go over budget without pre-approval from Clients.
• Work with Director, PPCS for Period Reforecasting and the next year's OB & LTP with Finance.
• Create budgets and cost templates for Feature Films in Burbank. Prepare & commit to budget targets & estimates per project.
• Manage Feature Supervisor & Mixer schedules & availability documentation.
• Foster new clients & current relationships (internal and external). Assist in communications with Talent regarding new sales opportunities and updates within the department.
• Manage/monitor individual project tracking (account set up/ Media Server Storage/confirm crew union status/deal memos/timesheet template/appropriate MVP/appropriate COVID-19 Testing/Room & Workstation requests/lot access).

The Essentials
• 7+ Year experience in Feature Film Sales and Budgeting.
• Bachelors Degree
• Sales – Ability to research and assess each Client's project needs as they relate to budget and appropriate Talent.
• Budgeting and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of industry in-house and external/competitive Sound Supervisor & Re-Recording Talent with existing Client relationships.
• Ability to interact successfully with all levels of Clients, Talent, Staff & Managers.
• Understands negotiation skills with Talent and Clients.
• Proven record of professional written & verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented & have strong follow through.
• Accounting and Finance background
• Excel expertise with formulas and presentation
