The Job
Warner Bros. Entertainment Canada Inc. seeks a Sr. Coordinator, Publicity & Promotions for the Canadian Marketing department.
The Daily
• Coordinate and be accountable for small budget activations from ideation to execution including supervision of event support staff
• Coordinate with media monitoring and outside publicity agencies to develop and distribute daily clippings, publicity review packages and junket tracking reports to department and studio
• Update and maintain promotional and media contacts' lists/database
• Support the Vice President, Theatrical Marketing and the Manager of Publicity and Promotions on all grassroots, regional and national promotions, including radio, TV, print, online and experiential activities
• Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials, mailers and screening passes to press, promotional partners, and agencies
• Assist with all in-house screenings for press and promotional partners
• Input all report data for screening and promotional reports into online reporting system
• Maintain and circulate screening ticket allocation reports
• Assist Vice President, Theatrical Marketing and Manager of Publicity and Promotions with planning and executing local press days
• Assist with Talent Handling on select Canadian PA Tours
• Enter shopping carts/purchase order requests in the SAP system
• Coordinate and localized all marketing/advertising assets with Home Office Tech Support teams
• Coordinate global debuts of select assets with Home Office across the Warner Bros. Canada social channels and website
• Service all localized film assets to social media, publicity and marketing agencies/partners
• Service all approved assets to Canadian press through the Warner Bros. Press Portal
• Assist in the organization of special events for Warner Bros. Pictures, as required, including Toronto International Film Festival and other staff and media events
• Administrative duties as assigned by Manager and VP
The Essentials
• Undergraduate university degree or diploma in the arts, public relations, communications or marketing.
• Three years of related work experience in entertainment, broadcast or public relations fields
• Robust interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent understanding of all major social media platforms
• Enthusiasm, creativity, strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline dependent environment
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Google
