The Job

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Front End Software Engineer for the DigOpsProdEng: B2B Applications department.

The Daily
• Work with a team of highly motivated developers to effectively implement solutions and delivery production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable
• Participate in software development projects using an Agile process and tools
• Overall responsibility for design, code quality, and deployments
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues
• Partner with internal and external teams to understand business and technical requirements to document technical specification

The Essentials
• 2+ years of experience using in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and current front-end technologies such as React, Redux, Vue, Angular, TypeScript, Sass and Less
• Experience with VideoJS and solid understanding of Digital Media and Digital Right Management is a huge plus
• Experience with WordPress theme development and knowledge of PHP is a plus
• Experience designing and building responsive web pages.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js applications is a plus
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD development workflow
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, MySql
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Authentication/Authorization, JWT tokens (OKTA experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel
• Knowledge of behavior-driven design and/or test-driven design and design patterns
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Solid foundation in troubleshooting application and data issues in a distributed environment
• Ability to understand goals, strategies, and needs of the business as they relate to application development
• Drive to master emerging technologies and share experience with team members
• Ability to be a self-starter and to multitask
