The Job

WarnerMedia Ottawa is looking for a Senior Software Developer to support our Viewer Experience team. This role will continue changing the way viewers experience TV across multiple platforms, all under a single code base. The successful candidate must demonstrate a successful track record of bringing high-quality solutions quickly to market, enjoy learning and applying new technologies, and thrive in a dynamic developer-oriented work environment.

The Daily
• Be the technical subject matter expert on dynamic experience workflow and support our product and project teams for the integration of these experiences into emerging applications
• Support the WarnerMedia applications team with the definition and development of dynamic experiences ranging from ads/monetization to sports experiences and betting.
• Support, attend and contribute to meetings with stakeholders, partners and customers
• Support architecture and implementation
• Work with the UX team to implement new concepts
• Work with project teams to test and troubleshoot new dynamic experiences in standalone PoCs and live applications
• Your primary focus is front-end application implementation and interaction with servers including ad servers and Content Management Systems

The Essentials
• You have 5 to 7 years of hands on development experience with C++]
• You have 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript

The Nice to Haves
• Experience with React, React Native, or React.js is nice to have
• Experience creating PoCs and taking lead on product demonstrations
• Have experience with Ad Tech is a bonus
• Have experience with Unity, Unreal, or other game related platforms is a bonus
