Position Overview

The Senior Researcher, Talent Intelligence, Executive Search will be well-versed in executive search research, candidate generation and bespoke talent intelligence projects. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Intelligence, Competitive Insights and Analytics, and in partnership with an established and seasoned executive search team, you will participate in search strategy by developing comprehensive executive search research and talent intelligence using a robust, multi-channel approach to talent discovery.

As Senior Researcher, Talent Intelligence, Executive Search for Warner Bros. Discovery, you will be fully responsible for owning and executing executive level candidate research and talent intelligence to identify top talent for executive roles across our portfolio of businesses and brands. This is an exciting role with our executive search team supporting talent discovery and intelligence for a global premium entertainment company.

About the role

The Senior Researcher, Talent Intelligence, Executive Search will:
• Conduct extensive talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to discover top talent using a variety of sources and approaches, e.g. LinkedIn, target environment mapping, conference and event engagement, industry trades, etc.
• Define the target company universe and prioritize based on client intake and key market insights
• Strategically Identify the appropriate competitive landscape for bespoke projects to execute targeted market and organizational mapping for a variety of bespoke client requests
• Proactively contribute to the knowledge base of the group by building out pipelines for critical functions and roles across the competitive set and adjacent sectors
• Develop and execute outside-the-box research strategies in multiple disciplines and industries while managing a high volume of data
• Evolve robust search strategies as needed to identify the best leaders in mission critical roles for our portfolio of businesses and brands
• Maintain close pulse on key executive moves, company realignments, industry conferences, and diversity organizations to expand talent discovery
• Participate in client update meetings on active searches
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment

What you bring
• 5+ years of experience with an executive search firm, in-house recruiting team, or consulting firm with exposure across the research and shortlist-lifecycle of an executive search mandate
• Exceptional qualitative research skills, including the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and quickly learn new spaces
• Hands-on experience with research tools and systems, including but not limited to Encore, Invenias or similar systems, as well as a variety of industry and sector resources
• A genuine interest in/curiosity about people in the media businesses is highly desirable, with an understanding of film and television executives and their interrelationships
• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven experience:
• Conducting executive level research to map talent mapping across multiple functions, sectors and disciplines
• Maintaining a high volume of sensitive information
• Building working relationships with senior leaders

Compensation

Warner Bros. Discovery intends to attract a superior Senior Researcher, Talent Intelligence, Executive Search

and is prepared to offer an attractive compensation package including a base salary and bonus.
