Senior Director, Data & Insights

Job Description

Team leadership 20%

Leading and developing the INSEAK insights team, liaising with international research teams on global initiatives

Managing commercial relationships with external suppliers & managing the research budget

Work with Key internal stakeholders to establish research priorities and initiatives based on organizational goals

Content 20%

Support original production and acquisition teams with insights that help define their strategies

Acquisition and analysis of consumer media consumption behaviour across TV, SVOD

Reporting and dashboarding of KPIs

Franchise Building 20%

Collaborate with the INSEAK franchise management team to set up and oversee a comprehensive measurement system that would be used to build franchise plans in priority markets.

Acquisition of custom data sources to support franchise insights.

Ad Sales 10%

Support Sales team with strategic insights for client support/acquisition

Annual consumer insights initiatives to support business priorities

Present research insights at key client engagements

Marketing 20%

Develop and track fan engagement metrics on social and digital platforms for our always on social content.

Develop pre and post campaign tracking for key marketing activities in the year – e.g release of new movie, global fan event etc.

Ad Hoc 10%

Design and commission insights studies in response to ongoing needs of the business

Essential

Minimally 10 years of experience

Degree or equivalent experience in Business, social sciences

Experience in Quantitative and qualitative research techniques

Broad knowledge and experience in data analytics and dashboarding

Experience in TV research methodologies and datasets

Broad knowledge and experience in digital and social listening measurement

Broad knowledge and experience in marketing effectiveness

Ability to communicate effectively and influence decision making with data and insights

Experience in working client and agency side at a research vendor

Desirable

Fluent in one or more South East Asian languages

Experience in using TV ratings software
