The Job

Assists attorneys with agreements and payments in connection with the development and production of content for television and on-demand distribution.

Coordinates and corresponds with external parties, and internal development, production, marketing, finance, and rights administration departments as necessary regarding contract administration issues. Coordinates execution of approved documents, update status in various databases and coordinates distribution of documents both internally and externally.

Maintain various records and files. Performs special tasks and projects as assigned.

The Daily
• Track and process all development and rights payments
• Track development project options
• Track employment agreement options
• Prepare artist certificates for all closed development projects
• Review show credits for legal requirements
• Review series in production content for contractual and legal requirements
• Update Smartsheet database
• Draft Studio Facilities Agreements
• Draft Employment Agreements
• Draft basic amendments
• Maintain and update templates and forms

The Essentials
• Minimum two to five years contract administration or similar experience, preferably in television or film development or production.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be detail oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while effectively meeting deadlines and be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
