The Job
WB Games' Digital Publishing team is recruiting a Manager, User Acquisition to run User Acquisition campaigns across Google and DSP traffic, handle strategic planning for advertising campaigns, prepare studio and executive-facing reports, and work with Analysts and Interns on analysis to unpack performance trends and optimize marketing investments.
The Daily
• Recurring Reports: Prepare recurring reports covering performance in the marketing campaigns by game, channel, network and platform breakouts.
• Media Buying Support: Assist UA team with campaign management execution including bids, budgets and optimization
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Deep dive analysis based on current needs and requests from managers and team leads
• Asset Analysis: Report on asset performance within specific channel, platform, and country breakouts
• Algorithms: Dig in to deeply understand the algorithms for the UA channels to which you are exposed, and bid efficiently to gain a competitive advantage in auctions
• Project Management: Work with other Analysts and Interns to manage a backlog of analyses and projects, and maintain UA data pipelines
The Essentials
• 2-3 years of proven experience in mobile games User Acquisition
• Experience with BI tools like Looker
• Experience with SQL, R and other coding languages preferred
• Experience with Performance Marketing channels like Facebook, Google Ads, IronSource, UnityAds, Vungle, etc.
• Strong understanding of mobile free to play business model, understanding of player LTV, ARPU curves, and relationship with CPI
• Clear understanding of ad network bidding systems and algorithms
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint, and/or Google Suite
• Highly effective analytical, verbal and written communication skills
