Senior Analyst, Insights & Analytics (Temporary 6 months)

The Job
Working as part of the EMEA Insights & Analytics team, this role focuses on our Pay TV kids channels in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, and the Netherlands are priority markets), working across the Cartoon Network and Boomerang brands. The Insight & Analytics team are responsible for providing regular reporting and custom analysis, which help inform strategic and creative business decisions. Using a wide range of tools and resources, we turn data into insight and bring the voice of the consumer to the wider team.
The daily
• To provide expert recommendations based on consumer insight and data analysis to support programming, marketing, on-air presentation, digital, ad sales and finance functions
• Develop close working relationships with the programming and marketing teams to facilitate the exchange of information and proactively provide support
• Support ad sales with commercial insight and market intelligence to help grow advertising revenues
• Identify opportunities to add value with new data analysis approaches and support the implementation and roll out of new data products within the business
• Provide teams with digital reporting and analysis, including YouTube, apps, web and VOD
• Assist in designing, commissioning and managing ad hoc quantitative and qualitative research projects
• Attend, present at, and host regular meetings
Areas of Responsibility
• You will work within a team of six (plus 3 additional working students/interns) covering Insight and Analytics for our channel brands in Northern Europe, CEE and MENAT. The team is based in London, Munich, and Istanbul.
• You will help manage one working student based in Munich
• You will also participate within the broader Insight & Analytics EMEA group
The Essential
• Interest in and clear understanding of TV and Digital platforms
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Fluent English
• Experienced and confident presenter, able to design presentations from multiple sources and present at all levels
• Ability to analyse various data sources and transform findings into insights to grow the business.
• Ability to prioritise workload and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Experienced user of TV and ideally multiple digital data measurements systems e.g. TechEdge, Videoscope, Adobe Analytics, YouTube Analytics
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience of reporting software (i.e. Looker or Tableau) is desirable
