The Job
This role will be reporting to the Sales Director, as well as the SVP, and the primary job function will be to assist with the day-to-day operations for both administrative and business support of the office.
The Daily
• Research product availability and information in COSMOS (database system)
• Correspond with Burbank, Sydney & Hong Kong for marketing and broadcasting materials for clients
• Correspond with technical department (DETE) and manage/tracking of materials for clients in Asia
• Create sales orders, amendments and manage contract processing COSMOS
• Assist with billing and accounts receivable
• Correspond with Hong Kong office to support marketing activities for Asia
• Maintaining and filing all the contracts and business related documents
• Support mid-year forecast, long term plan, year-end forecast and actual revenues for Asia business in internal financial planning system (Khalix/COSMOS)
• Provide pricing analysis support, working closely with Director of Sales/Senior Vice President in crafting commercial proposal
• Update multi-year deals in the system & create product notice
• Conduct research on various market trend & filing of contracts & business-related documents.
• Work closely with Rights Administrator & provide support in relevant tasks
• Coordinate with WM team to ensure rights alignment across all titles
• Collect product and rights information from relevant sources (Rights Admin/Marketing) and confirm rights and clearance dates by working with the Rights Admin team in Burbank
• Keep track content titles rights in/out and maintain master title list and cost for HBO Max service
• Administer budget files, keeping track of license start and end dates
• Assist in ad hoc projects
• Perform administrative support including meeting arrangement, reception and organizing travel itineraries
• Handle travel expenses claims & interact with other departments for office supplies & equipment purchase
The Essentials
• Diploma holder or above
• Minimum 2 years experience in multinational company
• Media industry experience helpful
• Excellent English speaking and writing ability
• Must be detail-oriented and well-organized
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once in a busy, often tight-deadline environment
• Able to think analytically and creatively solve problems
• Must have a positive, client-friendly attitude
• Able to communicate with internal and external parties in Korea, Asia and the US in a clear, effective and tactful manner
• Skilled at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Able to run basic financial models in Excel
• Experienced at creating sales presentations in Powerpoint or Word
• Eager to learn about the content/digital media industry and grow as a professional
