The Job
Would you like to switch to an exciting industry as a financial professional? There is no better opportunity for that! In this role, you will be a member of the EMEA Record to Report (R2R) team, who is responsible for maintaining the general ledger accounting for multiple international multicurrency business units. You will manage general, end-to-end bookkeeping in this position while you will be collaborating with finance business partners recording general ledger entries and performing account reconciliations. We are looking for someone for a 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of an extension.
The Daily
• Creating and maintaining sub-ledger entries supporting GL accounts
• Collaborating with internal departments, identifying and recording general ledger entries such as accruals, prepayments, payroll, etc.
• Reconcile GL accounts to sub-ledgers on a regular basis
• Reconcile inter-company balances
• Prepare regular or ad-hoc reports for internal departments or external stakeholders
The Essentials
• Degree in the field of finance and accounting
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
• Work experience in the field of accounting
• Fluency in English.
• Confident Excel skills
The Nice to Haves
• Additional European Languages
• Experience with PeopleSoft accounting software
• Hungarian or Internarial accountant qualification (CPA)
