The Job

As part of the Cinema Marketing team and reporting directly to the Director of Cinema Marketing, your role as Product & Strategy Manager, Cinema Marketing New Releases is to participate in the planning and definition of the marketing strategy, executing the marketing plan for new theatrical releases for which you are responsible (3 to 6 US titles managed per year), and to developing the business of WB Theatrical.

The Daily

Participate in the definition of the marketing strategy and develop it for the titles for which you are responsible:
• Analyze the market, performance metrics and outlook to help build marketing plans (target, positioning, key pillars and tactics).
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (distribution / advertising / social / media / data) to ensure communication is consistent with objectives.
• Be responsible for the budget of your titles.
• Identify new ways to communicate with our consumers, based on monitoring, benchmarks and trend analysis.

Execute the global marketing plan for the new theatrical releases:
• Build an innovative communication strategy and materials with a strong digital focus.
• Work with media agencies, internal media teams and data teams to develop the best marketing plan and achieve the best creative output.
• Analyze performance against budgets, evaluate and make adjustments for future plans.
• Manage social media and solicit influencers in conjunction with internal and external teams.
• Work with the Cinema Distribution team to ensure visibility of titles in theatres and online.

Develop the WB Theatrical activity for US films:
• Create relevant media partnerships to increase the visibility and reach of the WB Theatrical business, and partnerships with third party brands to ensure visibility and relevance of our titles.
• Develop cross-franchise initiatives based on our core franchises in conjunction with the Franchise team.

The Essentials
• Proven experience in film marketing, with a passion for film in general
• The ability to work on different subjects and with different stakeholders
• Organisational and planning skills to make timely decisions under tight deadlines
• Creative, innovative, proactive yet pragmatic
• Analytical skills, data management, knowledge of digital
• The ability to manage and respect budgets
• Excellent oral and written skills in French and English

The Nice to Haves
• Business school degree or equivalent with a specialization in marketing and/or audiovisual
