The Job

The role will primarily support to the People Partner team for WMI UK, Int'l Licensing, DTC, Consumer Products, Theatrical, TV Distribution, Warner Media Technology Operations (WMTO) with a variety of day-to-day HR activities. This role will help to unify processes across the team ranging from supporting the execution of HR programs, general project management, Position Management, Recruitment process, Onboarding & Offboarding, Absence Management as well as BU-specific initiatives.

The Daily
• Provide day-to-day HR support for the People Partner team on projects and general administrative activities.
• Absence management – work with the HR Services team to ensure all absences are managed effectively and escalated to the Senior People Partner when necessary.
• Recruitment process – work closely with the Senior People Partners, Compensation and HR Services to ensure all new roles are benchmarked and open in Workday ready for the recruitment team Exit interviews – Carry out all exit interviews with leavers in the relevant business areas and escalate any issues with the appropriate Senior People Partner as required. Work in partnership with HR Services to produce regular analysis of leaver data to better drive HR initiatives.
• Assist the People Partner team to provide basic project management support on HR initiatives including, but not limited to, performance management, workforce planning, headcount and position management, compliance-related matters, employee relations, compensation, internal mobility, employee development staff retention and talent acquisition, working closely with Talent Leaders, People Solutions, COEs, and HR Services, as required.
• Help execute with the People Partner Lead and Talent Leaders HR-related initiatives such as, organization design & integration, talent management, compensation planning and succession planning.
• Develop working relationships with stakeholders including HR Services, People Partners Lead, Workforce Administration, COE partners, and business employees.
• Support HRS with administration of e-contracts, changes to terms and conditions of employment and termination confirming letters to the HR Services team for handling.
• Serve as HR generalist on employee-related matters and needed and/or assigned.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on HR-related projects & initiatives.
• Other HR-related activities, as assigned.

The Essentials
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office packages especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. (In particular experience of V look up and formulae)
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident communicating with all levels of staff within the Company.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with others.
• Demonstrable data entry skills.
• Patient, calm and unflappable nature and flexibility in approach to workload.
• Enthusiastic and motivated Team Player.
• Strong organisational skills and a good track record of multi-tasking and prioritising a workload.
• Must be discreet, diplomatic and treat information within the department as highly confidential.
• Excellent time management essential.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work; willing to learn and get involved with duties outside of day-to-day job description.
• Meticulous attention to detail including proofing and editing.
• Ability to take initiative using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision in a pressured environment.
• Minimum 2 years previous HR Administration or Coordinator role is required with a genuine interest and understanding of the role HR plays in an organisation.
• Experience working with Workday databases highly preferable.
• Previous experience of working within a complex matrix organisation would be advantageous.
• Degree or equivalent qualification or CIPD preferred.
