Payroll Analyst - 18 Months FTC

The Job

The Analyst for Payroll is responsible for payroll administration, payroll audit, and the application of best practice payroll processes. He/she is highly knowledgeable in the entry of timecards, processing of gross to net, and the auditing of payroll data for the entertainment industry.

The Daily
• Responsibility for accurately and timely execution of monthly payroll under consideration of local law for any acquired business by working closely with local payroll provider
• Point of contact for day-to-day payroll operations, employee payroll related issues and questions concerning the payroll tools and processes as well as issues relating to local authorities
• Management and analyzing of data and documents as well as working on complex requests and reports
• Identify opportunities and help to implement continuous improvements for procedures in the payroll
• Work closely and develop relationship with Legal, Finance, HR teams and the payroll vendor on any payroll related reporting, payments, and day to day business
• Compiling statistics and reports on a regular basis, ad hoc requests as well as Year-end reporting
• Special topics and participate in special projects

The Essentials
• At least a first work experience of execution and coordination of payroll within EMEA Region, preferably within similar business
• Solid knowledge of regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits, and other payroll related matters required
• Ability to work remotely from main payroll team
• Experience in dealing with external payroll providers and Business Partners
• Strong skills to work in a timely, highly accurate and well-organized way
• Strong problem-solving skills as well as analytical skills and operational efficiency
• Ability to deal with confidential information
• Team player
• Experience with systems and processes required
• Payroll certification a plus
