Job Description

The Job

Work in a fast-paced environment focusing on Domestic content fulfillment. Duties will include being a key back-up for many key department duties while also being available to assist other department executives as needed.

The Daily
• Schedule and fulfill internal and external screenings (high-profile, trade, marketing, publicity, NY/LA)
• Theatre audit scheduling and coordination (opening weekend box office and equipment)
• Must regularly be available afterhours to monitor department emails from colleagues and vendors
• Assist with pre-release and wide release first run title fulfillment
• Assist with Bel Air Circuit fulfillment
• Assist with streaming platform screening fulfillment (PIX, Censor Boards, Charity, WMScreeners)
• Censor Board coordination & fulfillment
• Update MACCS to ensure accurate film formats, bookings, enhancements, etc
• Maintain department calendar
• Audit and process vendor invoices and payments
• Process PCard transactions & department expense reports
• Act as a regular/ daily backup for the office of the President, Domestic Theatrical Distribution and other key executives as needed
• Administrative support for the department
• Support special projects as needed for both internal and external departments (exhibitor marketing, post-production)

The Essentials

Previous research experience preferred.

Previous entertainment experience required

Some experience in production/post-production/publicity required.

Distribution background preferred.

Bachelor's degree essential; Master's degree preferred.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Must be able to communicate with senior executives in the entertainment industry at Warner Bros. and other studios. Knowledge of key industry personnel required.

Film history background and strong research background required.

Knowledge of current and future digital cinema projection technologies preferred.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and Power Point.

Must have knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, filing procedures, basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, English language usage, report and letter formats.
