The Job

Warner Bros. Technical Operations Inc. seeks a Manager, Media Ops DTC Content Pipeline for the International Operations: Global Client Relations & Content Dist department. The Manager, DTC (Direct To Consumer) Content Pipeline will support frictionless content delivery processes for our DTC workflows across standard and accelerated timelines. This position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence for our key DTC stakeholders through day to day performance from content planning activities through distribution. This position will also help manage client relationships and needs, as well as to lead efforts to identify innovative solutions to ensure processes, tools and standards utilized for DTC workflows are optimized to achieve changing business requirements in evolving digital media supply chain environment.

The Daily

Content Pipeline Planning, Execution and Continuous Improvement:
• Leads DTC content pipeline planning and preparation for content licensed through WarnerMedia Sales and Distribution, managing and facilitating projects and tracking to ensure on time readiness for HBO Max content delivery across global requirements in coordination with regional pipeline planning and management teams (US, LatinAm, EMEA, APAC).
• Oversees coordination of end to end planning activities for monthly releases, supporting all aspects of content readiness in partnership with HBO Max operations, content licensing, localization, mastering and asset readiness teams. Activities span from title preparation, demand planning, asset/metadata preparation, material order fulfillment and tracking, client acceptance and meeting client timelines/release dates
• Supports content readiness pertaining to DTC launch/expansion initiatives

Relationships and Communication:
• Maintains relationships and coordinates across WMTO (asset readiness, localization, mastering, servicing), DTC business teams (Ops/Sales/Marketing/Programming), serving as a key liaison representing and supporting the studio's business strategy. Has a strong understanding of the business' top priorities on a monthly basis.
• This includes, but is not limited to: Communication relating to all day to day operational activities pertaining to regular release schedules, launches, promotional opportunities, etc.
• Provides leadership and serves as a key client contact on a global level to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Includes participating in and/or leading operational calls, assessing expansion plans, addressing inquiries from clients, WB business teams and internal Tech Ops teams, striving to meet operational KPI's and resolving issues and rejections across parties

Data Analytics and Reporting:
• Monitors, measures and enforces processes through KPI reporting, statistics and data analysis. Reports on KPI results in support of continuous improvement for DTC content planning workflows, in order to guide senior leadership on improvement opportunities among areas of priority.

The Essentials
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a supply chain role for a media content distribution, directly involved in digital content packaging & distribution; recent experience with direct to consumer or accelerated content workflows strongly desired
• Minimum of 5 years deep experience with digital content distribution and digital media processes, overseeing successful distribution time-sensitive, high priority content. Experience with managing accelerated content pipelines and direct to consumer workflows are a strong plus
• Direct experience with content pipeline planning is a must
• Experience with localization and other asset readiness activity is necessary
• Prior experience leading cross functional teams whose focus is on meeting business objectives.
• Must have experience working with systems that support a digital supply chain workflows.
• Understanding of XML and data feeds is a strong plus
• Knowledge of industry standards for digital supply chains (e.g. EIDR, IMF, MMC, MEC, etc) a plus
• Prior experience with re-engineering projects and change management efforts a plus.
• Prior experience with system requirements definition and system implementation a plus
• Experience in utilizing technical tools within operational workflows
• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Must possess ability to make decisions, trouble-shoot and work independently.
• Demonstrated understanding and use of advanced data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau is a strong plus.
• Must have excellent presentation, communication, organization, negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative), critical thinking ability, and process analysis skills required, with demonstrated experience and results with analysis of complex scenarios is a must.
• Ability to contribute to and develop strategies for digital supply chain frictionless scalability and adaptability.
• Proven ability to successfully adapt & prioritize while multi-tasking across an array of tactical business responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Digital Supply Chain industry standards are a plus, e.g. component-based delivery, Interoperable Master Format (IMF), Entertainment Identifier Registry (EIDR), Media Manifest Core (MMC), Media Entertainment Core (MEC) specs
• Must have strong reporting and data presentation skills, and a bility to prepare ongoing activity and status reports for senior management.
• Must demonstrate integrity and reliability with clients and other cross-functional team members to reinforce long-term relationships.
• Must have strong business/client engagement skills - Ability to interact collaboratively and diplomatically internally/externally on a daily basis to achieve overall goals and initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Ability to provide guidance, aid in career development of staff, and maintain confidentiality is required
• Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative and high-pressure and environment technology driven digital supply chain environment is required.
• Must have ability to use PC & related software, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio and MS SharePoint.
• In addition to job duties, this person must be the type to take initiative and lead, be proactive and not be afraid to challenge norms.
• Must be able to lead to achieve results effectively in a high pressure environment.
