WHAT IS WIZARDING WORLD DIGITAL?:

More than two decades ago, a young Harry Potter was whisked onto Platform 9 3⁄4 at King's Cross Station, and readers everywhere were swept along with him into a magical universe, created by J.K. Rowling. In the years since, the seven Harry Potter bestsellers have inspired eight blockbuster movies, an award-winning stage play, and, more recently, the start of the Fantastic Beasts five-film series. People of all ages have been enthralled by these extraordinary adventures, set within an expanding universe, inspired by the vision of J.K. Rowling.

Wizarding World Digital was formed as a JV between Warner Bros. and Pottermore, with a mission to provide a unified, expansive, innovative, franchise-wide digital experience for fans and to represent and support the whole franchise and its projects.

SUMMARY OF P O S I T IO N:

The Manager role is the primary support to the Director, Commercial Strategy and Business Operations of the Wizarding World Digital platform – a joint venture between Warner Bros. and Pottermore. The role will also support the development and communication of WarnerMedia's broader Harry Potter commercial ambitions.

Critical that a candidate is a self-starter, who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, working on multiple projects with tight timelines.

1. The role is expected to spend a majority of time supporting the operations of the Wizarding World Digital organization (''WWD'') - 80% of role's time
• Support the daily operational needs of WWD, which may include: budget and timeline management, advising on go-to-market strategies, facilitating progress across priority workstreams, etc.
• Support the strategic planning process for WWD, which may include: annual planning and goal setting, identifying and prioritizing growth initiatives, drawing actionable insights from internal and external data, etc.
• Support senior leadership in effectively developing and driving key objectives for Harry Potter digital ecosystem – drive meeting agendas and maintain alignment across organization
• Provide operational connectivity across various WWD disciplines (Product, Marketing, CRM, Creative) supporting area experts and driving collaboration and project plans
• Support the communication of critical information on the status of WWD's commercial plan to Franchise senior leadership and Warner Bros. senior leadership

2. The role will also assist Franchise leadership and divisional counterparts in the development of long-term global strategy for Harry Potter Franchise – 20% of role's time
• Responsible for the upkeep of the Franchise ''shadow'' P&L, partnering with WB's finance department and tracking key drivers of revenue and cost
• Prepare comprehensive business plans for new growth initiatives, including expansion internationally and entry into new or adjacent businesses

3.Support VP's broader suite of responsibilities in support of the President of WarnerMedia's Kids, Young Adults and Classics business

JOB RES P O N S I B I L I T I E S:

Essential Job Functions:
• Drives operational planning and implementation in support of WWD and Harry Potter Franchise strategic objectives
• Supports the development and execution of new business opportunities (e.g., partnerships, sponsorships, expansion into complementary businesses)
• Responsible for driving organization and efficiency in daily workflow
• Prepares presentation materials to support VP's and senior leadership
• Supports Director as primary liaison between WWD and Warner Bros. divisions' finance, legal and business development
• Manages and facilitates cross-functional communication on WWD and Franchise initiatives that span multiple divisions
• Maintains relationships with Warner Bros. divisions to track performance of Franchise and assists with strategic planning and investments
• Other duties as required

Work Exp e r i e n ce
• 4+ years of work experience in strategic planning, management consulting, business development / operations, or related field
• Ideal candidate will have experience working in digital operations and/or media & entertainment
• Experience working in a complex stakeholder environment
• Experience preparing operating models in support of strategic initiatives and using data to drive decision making
• Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and driving strategic objectives
• Comfort with Google Analytics, Tableau a plus

Knowledge/Skills
• Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet various deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong research and analytical skills required.
• Knowledge of media landscape and trends required.
