The Job

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Financial Reporting for the Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. department.

This manager focusing on the reporting and analysis of WarnerMedia (primarily legacy Warner Bros.) to ensure consolidated results are in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Consolidated Financial Reporting is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosure for inclusion in the AT&T quarterly and annual SEC filings. Acts as liaison between our parent company, AT&T, and Global Business Services to ensure adequate explanation of submitted results, communicate reporting requirement revisions to internal partners and to obtain alignment on process efficiencies.

The Daily

Balance Sheet Reporting and Analysis
• Monthly Balance sheet review of certain line items, including resolution follow-up for previously identified issues
• Preparation / presentation of monthly deliverables including balance sheet analysis, financial package schedules and other management reports
• Preparation and review of quarterly executive balance sheet reviews, presentation and analysis
• Collaborate with internal/external customers, business partners and peers to drive efficiencies in processes and effectively meet deliverables
• Preparation or review of footnote disclosures prior to submission to AT&T
• Address management inquiries/requests for data and analysis spanning multiple finance / accounting areas
• Participate in other key projects and initiatives impacting balance sheet reporting

Balance Sheet Review and Submission
• Resolve balance sheet data issues that affect the transmission of financial statements to AT&T, including researching and reconciliation of data in legacy GL and/or AT&T systems
• Reviews and promotes monthly data in AT&T systems
• Work in multiple systems to report results

Special Projects/Other
• • Assist in providing ad hoc reporting / analysis and with various other projects, including cross-divisional initiatives, as required
• Provide support for new legal entities, restructure of existing entities and closure of company codes in SAP
• Assist with master data requests
• Provide assistance/support to other areas within the financial reporting group as needed

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Five or more years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Variance analysis and reporting experience is a plus
• CPA preferred
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems required, including use of macros and v-lookups (SAP/BW experience preferred)
