The Job

The Manager, Creative Content will support the VP or Executive Director in all aspects of creative content for Theatrical and Home Entertainment.

The Daily
• Contribute to the production and delivery process of content for each film release including EPK, Theatrical Marketing, Promotional Partner content, Sizzle Reels, Home Entertainment Enhanced Content, Digital Content, and Creative Content Day cross-divisional pieces.
• Manage script books for Creative Content Day shoots – relaying information back to each department about production and talent feedback on scripts
• Daily update with Creative Content Executive Director to manage the status of all materials being created
• Liaise with Home Entertainment, Publicity, Digital, Creative, Creative Finishing and Filmmakers for content updates and feedback
• Maintain Content Tracking documents to be shared among internal stakeholders
• Participate in the planning and organization of Behind-the-Scenes coverage and Creative Content Day shoots
• Manage the content approval process for legal, music, filmmakers, and talent
• Manage the collection and distribution of raw elements to vendors (title treatments, graphics, behind-the-scenes footage, dailies clips, etc)
• QC finished content before distribution and manage the delivery of final pieces
• Manage the archiving of finished materials, work with vendors to archive raw assets
• Interface with vendors to communicate delivery updates as well as creative updates and changes when necessary
• Participate and contribute to creative content brainstorm sessions
• Manage the production of internal executive greetings, interviews, or other specialty shoots
• Manage and coordinate shoots to cover VO/ADR sessions with talent for animated films – includes clearing shoots with filmmakers, studio operations, talent reps, scheduling groomers, etc.
• Liaise with studio legal team to advise of upcoming shoots and manage vendor SOWs, stay up to date on Covid compliance.
• Track project/shoot budgets and update financial breakdowns.
• Process and track purchase orders for vendors to ensure timely payment

The Essentials
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be able to attend various activities, screenings, and premieres
• Knowledge of editing procedures and finishing procedures for audio/visual materials
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with filmmakers and management
• Must know film elements for finishing and delivery requirements, i.e., audio configurations, picture format, etc.
• Must have complete knowledge of various file formats to include pros and cons of each format, budget implications, and quality resolution
