Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) Enterprise Business Resilience team helps keep the company's businesses running and employees safe and informed in times of crisis. The team prepares and protects the organization's people and critical business functions from serious disruptions that may lead to health/safety issues, revenue impacts, or brand damage.
As Internal Communications Manager for our ''Ready'' preparedness program and enterprise business resilience team, you'll play a key role in prepping employees worldwide for natural, man-made and technical incidents, and will respond quickly to inform and empower our stakeholders. You'll be responsible for content and message creation, program execution, development and enhancement of our internal and external websites, and play a part in executive reporting and engagement, in partnership with the Lead, Communications and Reporting.
The Job
• Develop crisis and preparedness communications for global employee, production and partner audiences, including emails, memos, FAQs, and infographics
• Create communications plans and assets to engage target audiences and empower them to take action, whether that's adopting a new service, preparing at work or at home, or responding during an incident
• Lead the strategic roadmap, content development and enhancements for the team's external-facing website, and presence on the corporate intranet
• Assist with core messaging, branding, and marketing material development.
• Partner with Lead, Communications and Reporting to develop presentations, videos, collateral, newsletters, and more for internal communications campaigns aimed at senior stakeholders and key employee populations
• Work cross-functionally with company internal communications, branding and platforms teams to execute campaigns
• Support crisis communications needs at time of disaster by coordinating with divisional communications representatives, and business resilience or disaster recovery partners within the department.
• Develop executive-level reports, presentations, infographics and more to keep key stakeholders proactively informed and engaged timed to program development, crises, educational campaigns, and other critical initiatives.
• Produce executive level status reports for key initiatives, and at time of disaster to represent situation status.
• Assist with any external communications and messaging requests, as needed.

Work Experience
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field required.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling content that engages, educates and moves stakeholders to action. Content development experience required and samples will be requested.
• Experience developing and delivering communications in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
• Experience with internal communications and employee engagement.
• Experience developing and implementing web-based content/communications required.
• Experience developing sales or executive presentations.
• Experience supporting the execution of large-scale marketing, education, and/or training programs preferred.
• Experience in crisis communication and/or business resilience and/or disaster recovery strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in graphic design and layout a plus.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and problem-solving skills required; knowledge of AP Style a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery of quality content.
• Experience with Drupal or other web platforms preferred.
• Salesforce or other content management tool experience preferred.
• Experience with Photoshop or other graphic design software preferred. Previous experience managing outsourced graphic design and printing projects preferred.
• Experience with basic video editing a plus.
