Job Description
The Warner Media Technology Operations' Studio Data, Science and Analytics group leads and owns the enterprise analytics and business intelligence platforms, strategy, and insights delivery for users across Warner Media's Studio & Networks including Motion Pictures, Consumer Products, DC, Wizarding World Digital, Studio Tours and Ellen brands.

As a Manager, BI & Analytics, you will deliver critical analytic insights and visualizations across the studio. The manager must be comfortable working with business partner teams, conducting both planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing dashboards, and communicating insights to a variety of audiences. To excel in this role, the candidate should complement their analytical skills with a technical understanding of how digital product ecosystem, MarTech, and data cloud and engineering systems work.

This individual will analyze all facets of WarnerMedia's owned and operated user awareness, acquisition, activation, engagement, conversion, and retention behaviors. He / She will collaborate closely across data engineering, data science, and business teams to design and implement analytics and dashboard solutions. Your work will enable internal clients to access, explore and monitor data. Your analysis and insights will help business have a deeper understanding of the performance trends, subscribers, and their behaviors for strategic business decision making.

The Daily
• Lead the application and development of quantitative frameworks to understand our vast portfolio of content, media and digital product via big data
• Conduct data analyses to derive key findings and insights on media, content and digital products performance
• Effectively provide consultations around KPI metrics across the customer journey
• Help diagnose business needs, translate into questions that Tableau reporting will help answer
• Present data for validation and Tableau dashboards to clients and internal teams
• Lead a team of BI Engineers on creation of actionable Tableau reporting
• Liaise with a team of data engineers to implement the data cloud solution and tagging manager to implement the digital tagging and analytics measurement strategy (currently Google Analytics 360 Suite, Segment and Salesforce, but the ideal candidate should be tool agnostic) and assuring the validity of the data on a continuing basis
• Provide subject matter expertise on digital platforms and marketing channel performance including paid media and social data (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Display, and Search etc)
• Dive deep into available data using SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics, Looker, Segment, Python or other data analysis tools in your vast toolbox
• Build aggregate datasets using ETL principles that underlay insights and visualizations; have a strong point of view on what data to prioritize
• Conduct data analyses to derive key findings and insights on content, media and product performance
• Assist in building out insights decks by leveraging available data

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor's degree, MS or greater in quantitative field of study (Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics etc.)

The Essentials
• 7-8 years of relevant experience querying, visualizing, and presenting data;
• Prior experience at a major technology company or consulting firm is a big plus
• Advanced skills in SQL
• Advanced skills in BI tools such as Tableau and Looker
• Advanced skills in Snowflake, Teradata, and/or Oracle
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Segment.io, Datorama, Salesforce etc.
• Robust experience using R/Python in data-focused full stack environments (from data wrangling, to analysis, to visualizations) is a plus
• Demonstrable skills building responsive data visualizations
• An expert who can tell a story with data
• Ability to work with multiple and disparate data sets, sources, formats, etc.
• Must be independent

• Must handle multiple tasks with changing priorities
• Must communicate effectively
• Must maintain confidentiality
• Experience in the digital media and entertainment strongly preferred

Experience with front-end frameworks/languages a plus
