The Job:
Provides day to day support and guidance for Content Servicing activities in distributing and servicing assets to clients to ensure on time delivery, quality, and best in class customer service. Assets include, but are not limited to, digital files, tapes, metadata, artwork, cue sheets, scripts, or additional ancillary materials. The Lead is responsible for monitoring Content Servicing request queues and new onboarding requirements to ensure volume is efficiently allocated across vendors and team members.
The Daily:
• Manage the Vendor onboarding process for Domestic and International (Canada, LATAM, APAC, Global) for all new and existing TV/SVOD clients. This process will entail the analysis of client's technical specification to determine the correct vendors for this client. This role will be the key stakeholder for the Vendor, Client and Sales team for all questions that arise and to ensure that the onboarding process completes in a efficient timeframe and will work with the Sr Specialist on day to day onboarding functions handled by that position.
• Analyze the onboarding procedures to track length (in days) of onboards, on-time performance of onboards for all vendors. Provide Onboarding grades for each onboarding job performed and overall report card for each vendor in terms of onboarding across the whole team. Understanding the issues and resolutions for each onboard to make future recommendations across teams.
• Analyzing the onboarding data to make the necessary onboarding assignments in the future to determine if vendors are not meeting expectations, are new vendors are needed, determine the correct onboarding assignments for vendors. In addition to oversee the governance of onboarding practices across the company
• Work with the Senior Specialist on root cause and resolutions on major onboarding issues.
• Work with HE and Europe teams to understand the volume being assigned to each vendor in addition to understand volume to understand if new vendors are needed.
• Work with Broadcasters, Internal Teams and Sales Offices to determine if standardization can be achieved to create a more efficient onboarding process.
• Maintains collaborative relationships and acts as a main point of contact for internal Domestic TV business teams and external TV clients worldwide (free TV, cable, AVOD and SVOD), translates business requirements for other Content Technology & Operations groups, vendors, and business teams, and ensures top priorities and objectives are translated into action plans and achieved in a timely manner.
• Participates in and/or leads operational calls and meetings with internal and external clients, vendors, and WB Technology teams.
• Handles escalated client concerns/complaints and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure resolution, including making recommendations to improve processes for the future.
• Communicates business unit priorities and goals to operational teams to enable effective planning, and works cross-functionally with Content Servicing, Localization, Mastering, and appropriate vendors to effectively estimate, track and/or execute deliverables for TV launch/expansion initiatives and contract fulfillment.
• Lead internal teams to establish and maintain scalable ingest workflows for content produced in territory and needed for global distribution
The Essentials:
• 5 years work experience related to content delivery and supply chain logistics. (internet, PC, set top box, EST/VOD, broadcast, etc.)
• Knowledge of/familiarity with:
• Video compression technology, applications, and codecs
• Framerates, video bitrates, audio specs
• Dubbing and subtitling processes
• Digital delivery mechanisms
• Metadata/Artwork requirements, specifications and characteristics
