The Job
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Lead, Operational Improvement - Global Business Services for the EFS-Transformation & Svc. Mgmt department. Work as part of the Global Business Service organization. This role will work alongside GBS Global Process Owners (GPO) in improving their processes to maximize the efficiency and effective delivery of finance services across WarnerMedia. The role will be responsible for the end to end delivery of assigned projects by leveraging best practice, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, working with GPO's to improve controls, service levels and cost reduction.
You will work across all GBS areas (O2C, P2P and R2R) and stakeholder groups to ensure the successful delivery of end to end projects, including process design, facilitating workshops, managing deliverables, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. You will use your WarnerMedia finance knowledge, WarnerMedia business acumen and creativity to successfully navigate challenges and ambiguity to drive these process improvements to completion.
The Daily
• Support GBS GPO's and Capgemini with process efficiency analysis and delivery by WarnerMedia/Capgemini operations
• Deliver service moves across both captive and outsource locations to support standardization of scope / tactical labor arbitrage savings
• Support GPO's in driving and process modifications from adoption of new accounting policies, compliance and legal entity changes
• Provide GBS leadership consolidated reporting on continuous improvement projects and benefits tracking
• Work across all GBS functional areas (Record to Report, Procure to Pay and Invoice to Cash), focusing on automation, technology/tools advancement and process reengineering to best in practices processes and technology
• Leadership on all change management requirements from process modifications and projects

The Essentials
• 10+ years' experience in Finance and Accounting or Business Process/Finance Transformation
• Lead Finance Process Optimization projects
• Combination of experience and education in both accounting and management information systems
• Successful track record of development/delivery of complex solutions
• SAP and/or Peoplesoft usage experience required
• International experience required
• Experience driving process improvement within a Finance organization required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• CPA or MBA required
• Microsoft office suite of tools, strong in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio required
• Deep knowledge of Finance business processes – Record to Report, Accounts Payable and Invoice to Cash
• Knowledge and awareness of finance business controls including SOX
• Strong planning, organization and analytical skills
• Strong ability to interact professionally (written and verbal) with outside vendors, GBS Management/Customers
• Competency with Process Improvement methodologies and tools e.g., Six Sigma, Lean etc.
• Training skills on process improvement skills and techniques
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
• Must be client service orientated and have the ability to work with multiple groups internally within GBS and Finance groups across WarnerMedia
