Junior Financial Analyst

The Job

Act as a reliable member of the FP&A Retail team and as a business partner for the Sales/Category Management and Marketing teams.

Be a partner to the Senior FP&A on the Home Video Third Party and Consumer Products topics.

The Daily

Home Video Third Party
• By-title budget and forecast preparation and reviews in close collaboration with the Home Entertainment Sales team
• Participation in the monthly close, analysis of actual results vs. forecast
• Third Party statements check and liaison with their accounting departments and the WarnerMedia team responsible for statement preparation
• Collaboration with Master Data to ensure accurate reporting
• Preparation of profitability analyses and presentation to Home Entertainment management

Consumer Products
• Participation in the monthly close
• Monitoring and reporting actual-to-budget progress by line of business and franchise, analyzing historical trends, and maintaining key performance indicators to report periodically
• Preparation of budget and forecasts
• In addition, this position will also get some ad-hoc requests to meet business or finance needs and will be expected to give input on process adaptations and improvements.

The Essentials
• Degree in Finance - FP&A
• 1/2-year experience in FP&A, data analytics and/or business decision support, if possible, in the media entertainment industry
• Fluent written and spoken French and English
• Important commitment to deadlines
• Ability to build good relationships with team members as well as business partners
• Abilities to communicate effectively and work jointly with other departments & offices
• Dynamic, flexible, and curious
• Proficient computer skills required in MS Excel and comfortable with information system
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to think strategically
• Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced international environment
• Rigorous and accountable

The Nice to have
• Previous experience with SAP and/or Tableau
• Strong interest in cinema and/or the franchise business
