The Job
The Insights & Analytics team is responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of WarnerMedia's consumers across EMEA. Via research through various data sources we apply insights to ensure our consumers are put in the centre during the development of multi-touchpoint experiences.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Kids Insights & Analytics, leading the pan-European research activities for our Kids business, including our multiplatform data and measurement initiatives. This role is key for understanding the current and potential consumers of our kids content and multiplatform brands. You will be providing continuous insight to support EMEA content, commercial, digital and marketing teams, guiding informed decision-making based on data and forward-thinking research and analytic techniques.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, commercially focused research professional who is passionate about kids & family content, television, digital entertainment and streaming services and who thrives in an international, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Daily
• Lead both the EMEA Kids & Family consumer insights and the Data team, supporting their professional development
• Drive the agenda of our pan-EMEA Kids insights & data activities, develop the research roadmap and identify/prioritize EMEA research & insights needs
• Drive growth of our Kids business across linear, streaming and digital by providing expert recommendations based on consumer/market insight, data analysis and market intelligence
• Initiate strategic research initiatives and proactively support EMEA stakeholders, ensuring they are kept fully informed about Kids & Family attitudes, consumption behaviours and industry trends to guide them in their strategic and day to day decisions
• Build strong relations with the Kids senior management, programming & acquisition teams, marketing, digital and data teams across the channel business and HBO Max
• Drive multiplatform data integration, report consolidation/automation and the transformation into becoming a more consumer-centric and data-driven organization, further develop and contribute to KPI, data and measurement projects
• Initiate and oversee multi-country data, insights and primary research projects (e.g. brand tracking, show tests, channel and franchise initiatives), ensuring output is of exceptional quality and accuracy
• Further develop our EMEA Kids content, channel and franchise reporting across linear, streaming, digital and multiple sources
• Work closely with Insights & Analytics leads in EMEA territories and in the US to share, develop and execute insights plans required to meet objectives; collaborate on multiplatform data initiatives, cross-regional projects and workstreams, leverage and share insights, methodologies and best practice.
The Essentials
• Demonstrated experience of research practice, with broad experience from a similar leadership role in broadcasting or streaming
• Strategic thinker that can take a high-level view to determine business priorities, insights needs and the appropriate allocation of resources
• Previous experience and strong interest in multi-territory Kids & Family research and Kids content
• Strategic and commercial mindset to create new revenue opportunities by leveraging consumer insights, acting towards business KPIs
• Strong data, measurement & reporting knowledge across linear, digital, VOD: Audience/ cross-media measurement, KPI setting, multiplatform reporting, visualisation tools
• Proven experience in ideating and conducting research studies with different qualitative and quantitative research techniques
• Excellent communication and consulting skills with demonstrated ability to derive actionable and impactful insight from data
• Good people manager & team player, advocate of change and creates an environment of learning
• Fluent English
