The Job
As Financial Analyst for Invoice to Cash (ITC) Home Entertainment and Theatrical business lines, you will prioritise collection strategies including payment plans and review credit management risk, while overseeing financial records to provide internal and external stakeholders with accurate billing information for France and Benelux.
You will review and analyse financial reports, in order to identify collection issues and assist in appropriate resolution. Continually promote awareness and benefits of process improvement strategies in the context of actual business situations as well as the potential to facilitate or add input to training.
Must have an ability to understand controls and gaps to ensure procedures have internal controls and are sox compliant. You will develop training and/or work with the outsource service provider to update desk top procedures (DTP's) and submit formal change requests as deemed appropriate. As a key member in projects and new business initiatives, you will perform a variety of roles in the areas of process implementation and training.
The Daily
• Act as escalation point
• Ensure DTPs and procedures are being complied
• Resolution of incidents / queries
• Training and coaching
• Coordination and execution of weekly operational ITC calls with Service Delivery Center (SDC)
• Priority setting and ensuring key deliverables are met
• Approve credit notes
• Customer master data: review and support
• Manage relationships between SDC and Territory finance, ops, sales
• Weekly cash forecast
• Supervise Bad Debt & other reports
• Deal with auditors, compliance with statutory, audit and company requirements
• Closing tasks including review of control reports
• Ad hoc internal and external reports
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager
• Coordination and execution of weekly operational calls with Territory
• Resolve billing queries
• Workload planning/prioritization for SDC
The Essentials
• Fluent French and English
• BA/BS and equivalent work experience in a related field
• 3+ years of prior relevant work experience within a similar industry preferred
• Ability to learn / utilize various systems and applications
• Knowledge of ITC / OTC related tasks
• Proactive, detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under a deadline and handle multiple tasks
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
