Filmbankmedia, a Joint Venture of Warner Bros., Sony Pictures and NT Digital Partners based in London, is a leader in Non-Theatrical content distribution internationally. Filmbankmedia distributes both blockbuster Feature Films as well as award winning episodic TV content to a variety of commercial markets.

The Job

This is a role that is a 50:50 split between financial reporting and business partnering/commercial analysis. Supporting the Financial Controller to a.) improve revenue management reporting and b.) help develop a closer relationship between finance and the Sales Directors by business partnering with the Sales team. Providing value adding analysis, research, and financial modelling. Help to instil a culture focused on maximising profit generation.

The Duties
• Provide analysis and commentary to Weekly Revenue vs Sales Target reports and Monthly Revenue Variance Analysis for the sales teams.
• Provide revenue analysis and commentary to the FP&A Analyst for monthly Dashboard and Management Accounts.
• Calculate and post Revenue, Cost of Sales and WHT journal.
• Responsible for royalty accrual balance sheet codes.
• Create revenue/title reports for Studios.
• Review of monthly royalty statements/ deal with queries from studios.
• Update rolling revenue forecasts, highlighting risks and opps.
• Set up licensees in MACCS/ Master Data modifications/ Update MACCS studio contract data in MACCS.
• Reconcile AR data transfer from MACCS to SAP.
• PVSL studio royalty calculation and analysis.
• Calculate sales commission for the sales team.
• Review of T&E expenses of the sales team.
• Lead and manage budget timetable and delivery with all revenue divisions, to ensure FP&A Analyst receives information in time to consolidate full company budget.
• Build the revenue budget templates for company budget consolidation.
• Analyse trends and challenge assumptions where necessary.
• Involved in 5 year strategic planning.
• Provide cover for the FP&A Analyst.
• Assist with move to new financial reporting system and billing system.
• Assist with audit queries.
• Business partner with the sales team to monitor the financial performance of material contracts, highlighting risks and opps.
• Understand the true full cost of a product, to inform price setting, by being across all company costs.
• Conduct market research, to support the FC to build business cases.
• Assist in modelling financial scenarios to aid contract negotiation and to ensure an appropriate pricing.
• Help the Financial Controller to develop and build pricing strategy guidelines to aid the sales team to ensure we achieve a viable profit margin for each sale.
• Adhoc customer/ studio analysis for sales/content manager.
• Contribute financial/ operational recommendations and updates at monthly operational meetings. Present financial results where required.

The Essentials
• Experience in FP&A / Management Accounts or as a Finance Business Partner.
• Working with commercial and non-commercial stakeholders.
• Newly qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft office skills, in particular advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

The Nice-to-Haves
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• SAP and MACCS systems experience.
• Excellent time management in a time pressured environment.
