Job Description
THE JOB

An Executive Producer (Manager) must make managerial and budgetary decisions to keep a project running with the production companies hired according with artistic and technical parameters from Warner Media.

Works closely with many internal departments, such as Postproduction / Operations, Development, Production Content, Legal / Business Affairs to guarantee that all the goals stablished by upper management for the project are on track.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
• Budget analysis, review, and evaluation of all fiction series in the territory from GE group and HBO Max, ensuring fairness in the way the amounts invested are spent.
• Follow up of the execution of each project budget with the due report until the final breakdown.
• Purpose of ensure the alignment between artistic, financial and technical aspects of it; making it possible to carry out the project with the higher standards available in the local industry; Subsidizing the internal teams with data on the costs of the projects.
• Review the schedule of each production and production strategy in the territory, and follow cast and key crew validation working with the production team. Make a production breakdown, of each fiction series from GE group and HBO Max.
• Working closely with the production company and internal teams to achieve upper management (in charge of the scripts writing / in charge of the investment strategy) best interests for GE group and HBO Max.
• Subsidize the contractor with all necessary information for making artistic, business, political, legal, financial and operations decisions that are beyond their autonomy; as well as provide key information from the contractors internally such as legal, financial, business affairs, acquisitions etc.
• Evaluate risks of all kinds in a production of fiction series daily, to make decisions that impact productivity, the artistic result and the legal security of the project and the team, such as: changes in the filming plan, meteorology, illnesses, reshoots, displacements, licensing, covid etc.
• Manage and supervise the legal service with respect to each fiction series in regarding main agreement with company, to staff, cast, suppliers, leases, exchanges and support contracts, permits and licenses.

Essential
• Broad knowledge and experience in Production Planning & Negotiation, Production Budgeting & Production Legal Affairs.
• Above average skills in Postproduction & Operations
• Experience in Budget Management responsibility for 4 million dollars and upwards
• Experience in Negotiation of various transactional agreements: production services, coproduction, IP, licensee, music, key talent, cast, crew.
• Fluent in English
• Solid experience working in media industry, in renowned production company, major players or big studios. Including proven delivery of major projects for the most important players in industry, Theatres, Streaming, TV.
