The Job
The International Compensation Project Director will be a key member of the International Reward Team. Activities will focus on harmonizing international compensation plans across the combined WBD organization as well as reviewing our International operating model with key stake holders to ensure we have a streamlined and efficient processes in place.
This role will have 1 manager to support them day to day but will also need to work collaboratively across the International Total Rewards team.
The Daily
• Lead the compensation harmonization activity across International focusing on plans that span across all regions.
• Lead the Sales Plans harmonisation (supported by Deloitte) across International for Ad Sales, Distribution and/or other sales plans where teams will be jointly selling with a goal to having combined plans for 2023.
• Review all International sales plan processes, operating model and work with all key stakeholders to get agreement on a harmonized approach to managing sales plans.
• Review options and considerations of bringing in a Sales System to administer our sales plans going forward.
• Lead the project to review our current approach to Pay Ranges across International
• Build a sustainable model that works within the overall Global Framework, driving efficiency in job pricing, empowering P&C and ensuring pay decisions are underpinned by market data.
• Work with the International C&B team to create the ranges within each country.
• Support the education, training, and rollout of the combined ranges to P&C and managers.
• Support wider compensation harmonization activity (where led by regional/country lead) by overseeing the development of templates, collaborating on solutions and providing expert guidance.
• Oversee the creation of International Compensation resources and tools to support the education of our International P&C Teams and Managers.
• Partner closely with other project team leads in the Global Compensation Team to ensure holistic review of impacts and to develop strong harmonization plans.
The Essentials
• Project Management & Delivery: Proven track record of delivering significant and complex projects across multiple markets using sound project management techniques. Ability to lead multiple projects/tasks concurrently, prioritising and delegating effectively.
• Knowledge: Strong experience of Sales Plans, Job Architectures and Compensation Programmes including the design and implementation of new plans.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to quickly build robust relationships with stakeholders and to effectively influence others and manage conflict.
• Collaboration: A global 'one team' mindset to support collaborative working across the team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as appropriate for the situation.
• People Management: Proven leadership and management skills that empower and support the development of formal direct reports and informal dotted line reports.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, delivering complex messages and concepts in a clear and engaging way, tailoring their communication style effectively to their audience.
• Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to design processes and operating practices that minimise risk and drive efficiency.
• Strong Microsoft excel, MS office skills, including PowerPoint.
