The Team

The Global Executive Search team is accountable for assembling leadership teams with the highest calibre of top-tier, diverse talent essential to achieving ongoing business success and future growth. Partnering with senior management and People and Culture (P&C) teams across the company, the global function is responsible for identifying and fulfilling Warner Bros Discovery's (WBD) current and future human capital needs from VP to C-Level. In addition to achieving significant cost efficiencies, the team serves as a catalyst for generating strategic benefits for the business, including increased internal mobility and workforce diversity.

The International team was launched in 2004 to support the WBD divisions within EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
Over 850 senior-level search assignments/projects across 32 countries have been successfully executed since the launch of the team, generating cost avoidance of over $60million for the business units. Internal mobility is paramount, so the team identifies talent within the WBD divisions in addition to sourcing externally.

The Job

As a Director on the Executive Search team, you will be responsible for executing senior-level searches for WBD business units with a key focus on international territories and be a well-networked, knowledge-base of top-tier diverse internal and external talent across the regions.

• Partner with, and support, WBD P&C Teams to provide recruitment for current positions, future needs, tough-to-fill, and high turn functions;
• Develop pro-active recruitment strategies for future business needs and succession planning;
• Work closely with Warner Bros. Discovery business leaders to support best practices and key initiatives, including internal mobility and diversity;
• Analyse and track recruitment statistics, including data on time to fill, applicant flow, turnover, and source of hire;
• Update and maintain data in Executive Search International Data Base (Encore) on a regular and consistent basis, in accordance with Warner Bros. Discovery Legal requirements.

The Essentials
• Extensive experience within an Executive search firm or robust/sophisticated internal search business experience, including 'winning' the assignment, robust research, industry/role mapping, sourcing, client updates, shortlisting, and closing the offer;
• Prior experience across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, with knowledge of local territory-specific guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process;

• Excellent networking skills, able to professionally partner and build relationships with members of senior management and direct team;
• Strong business acumen with excellent organisational savviness necessary to understand future business needs;
• Ability to analyse job descriptions, CV's and determine required qualifications for vacancies, and be able to source and select appropriate candidates based upon these position requirements;
