The Job
As the Digital & Ad Sales Director of WarnerMedia entertainment in France, Benelux, Switzerland and French speaking territories, you will be in charge of managing our Adsales revenue (linear + digital) and growing the business working with our advertising agents and through bespoke digital initiatives (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Tik Tok, Apps, Branded content, Digital productions, Sponsoring, SVOD etc.)
The Daily
Traditional/Linear Adsales:
• France: management of ad rep and teams to sell and insert advertising on our channels (2GE, 3kids)
• Switzerland: management of ad rep and teams to sell and insert advertising on Cartoon Network
• Belgium: management of ad rep and teams to sell and insert advertising on Cartoon Network and Toonami
• Netherlands: management of ad rep and teams to sell and insert advertising on Cartoon Network and Toonami
Building our digital business models:
• In conjunction with finance teams, editorial teams, and production teams and existing Ad sales teams
• To identify areas of opportunities (bleacher report, adult swim, DC, Kids, lifestyle…)
• To identify the right partners (technological, productions, ad reps)
• To set-up workflows and processes
Driving implementation of those digital business models:
• Working with media agencies, brands and key digital stakeholders
• Working with local and pan regional editorial teams, finance teams, existing ad sales teams
• Implement and manage day to day operations in order to achieve financial targets agreed with top management in the business plans
Identifying new business models (but not limited to):
• Monetisation of our PayTV/SVOD on demand content and services
• Branded content productions for online brands
• Building new YouTube pages/verticals
• Work with influencers/YouTubers to build fan bases and to monetise with brands
• On social media
• Monetisation of live digital events
Collaboration:
This role requires a high level of coordination and collaboration with different departments / teams such as:
• Legal (for contract negotiations)
• Research teams/ Data science teams
• Marketing teams
• Consumer Product teams
• Content teams
• Creative agency
• Traditional Advertising team
Finance:
Manage revenue and costs:
• Plan and forecast advertising revenues
• Make sure that invoices are processed locally and with central teams
• Monitor revenue recognition
The Essentials
• Significant experience, in sales and marketing with a focus on digital
• Extensive portfolio of contacts/clients within Media agencies and with brands
• Understanding of the Digital Advertising Value chain and Stakeholders
• Understanding of Digital technology, processes, and ecosystem
• Understanding of production for digital medias
• Management: you will be in charge of a team of 4 people & 4 ad reps
• BAC +5
• Business School
• Fluent English
