The Job
Are you a movie fan and interested in law? Would you like to learn about the international film business from a legal perspective? Then we recommend you our Contract Administrator opening where you will be supporting the Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA business by managing the approval process for proposed license agreements, inputting deal terms into WB's contracts database, preparing conflict checks, drafting contracts and amendments, distributing documents for signature and managing the physical and digital archiving of documentation.
The Daily
• Manage our license agreements - draft, type, update information and amendments onto the worldwide database, ensure accuracy.
• Obtaining and chasing approvals for license deal requests.
• Performing conflict checks in the database for license deal requests.
• Help our colleagues and agents with their contractual questions.
• Supplying and routing weekly status reports from the database and following up with colleagues and agents on the progress of completion of license agreements and amendments.
• Assisting lawyers in the Legal & Business Affairs department with ad hoc paralegal tasks as required.
The Essentials
• Be comfortable with your Word and Excel, and typing skills.
• Experience with administrative procedures, database entry, and standard document typing.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail including proofreading.
The Nice to Haves
• Admin experience in a legal and/or international environment is an advantage.
• Working-level knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish, or German language would be beneficial.
