Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The position is to support the entire pre-sales and post-sales administration for all media (Pay, Basic, Free & SVOD/FVOD) and provide rights administration support for the TV Distribution INSEAK team. The role reports into Sales Director and working closely with Senior Vice President, Senior Rights Administrator and other team members within and other departments.

THE DAILY
Sales Support:
• Research product availability and information in COSMOS (database system) and deliver timely and accurate availability lists to optimize sales opportunities
• Proactively interrogate systems and identifying areas of business opportunity
• Provide pricing analysis support, working closely with Director of Sales/Senior Vice President in crafting commercial proposal
• Interpret commercial deal terms accurately, create sales orders/amendments to trigger all post-sales activities
• Prepare deals/program summaries for internal offices and client's approval
• Prepare contract orders for package deals (by entering the sale – rights / runs / fees etc into Cosmos) and ensure that they are swiftly signed by clients.
• Co-ordinate material delivery to client; follow through invoice/payments processes after contracts have been executed
• Assist accounts receivable
• Maintaining and filing all the contracts and business related documents

Rights Administration Support:
• Deliver timely and accurate content titles availability lists
• Collect product and rights information from relevant sources (Rights Admin/Marketing) and confirm rights and clearance dates by working with the Rights Admin team in Burbank and researching though Cosmos
• Keep track content titles rights in/out and maintain master title list for HBO Max service in the system
Others:
• Support mid-year forecast, long term plan, year-end forecast and actual revenues for Korea & Asia business in internal financial planning system (Khalix/COSMOS)
• Liaise with Marketing team to support marketing initiatives for clients
• Assist in ad hoc projects

THE ESSENTIALS

Education & Experience
• Work experience in television distribution or broadcasting preferable
• Minimum 2~3years experience in related rights management/contact admin/sales in MNC required

Knowledge & Skills
• Native English language speaker preferred
• Excellent language communication skills (written and verbal) both in Mandarin and English to liaise with stakeholders from Mandarin-speaking markets
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
• Emotional maturity
• Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and response
