Job Description
The JobWarner Bros. Studio Operations seeks a Specialist, Content Operations to support the Content Creative Support team
The Daily
• Oversee production schedule of assets for digital (VOD/EST) and physical (BD/DVD) media distribution, ensuring timely delivery and progress to meet critical deadlines.
• Escalate delays and business risks.
• Monitor media product specifications to ensure requirements are met during production.
• Update scheduling and spec data in systems and trackers as needed.
• Research asset status and order media assets, including creating and approving PO's, where required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recognize and flag inconsistencies in product specifications based on market requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and third parties to identify and resolve issues impacting key dates.
• Provide review and oversight of vendor QC process.
• Monitor vendor and workflow performance using pre-defined reports and KPIs.
• Provide inputs such as executive summaries and updates on vendor performance and risks to specific titles and product launches.
• Communicate and resolve issues with WB Business Unit stakeholders and clients.
• Translate client needs and feedback into actionable steps for internal teams and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline & drive efficiency in workflows both internally and out to clients & vendors.
• Document and implement approved solutions.
• Use reports and observations to drive communication, escalation, improvements, and insights.
• Ensure that data driven insights are captured and communicated effectively.
• Suggest improvements to reports to capture additional criteria as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
The Essentials
• 3 years experience in Blu-ray, DVD and/or digital production, required
• Project management experience juggling multiple projects at once, required
• College degree preferred
• SAP experience desirable
• Xytech experience desirable
• PC Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of Blu-ray, DVD and digital production process (i.e. encoding, formatting, QC, etc.)
• Knowledge of fundamental technical aspects and capabilities of the Blu-ray & DVD format
• Knowledge of global localization and market requirements for digital & physical products (e.g. censorship, languages, etc.)
• Working knowledge of BD/DVD device functionality and known player limitations
• Knowledge of film/tape formats and video codecs
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to plan a project timeline, negotiate timelines with vendors, clients and colleagues, and make adjustments as needed
• Ability to handle multiple projects / tasks in a high stress, fast paced environment
• Ability to switch gears and adapt to multiple & evolving workflow requirements.
• Strong self-initiative to work out solutions to issues that may involve multiple depts. and vendors with different priorities
• Able to collaborate with variety of personalities and work styles
• Must be team player, working side by side with Managers to serve clients effectively.
• Self-motivating, high attention to detail
• Strong organization skills, effectively managing time
