WarnerMedia Studios Creative Services is the post-production arm of WarnerMedia Studios. We are a collective of industry-defining Graphic Artists, Editors, and Sound Designers, as well as the management team working to support the craftspeople.

THE JOB

We are offering a full-time opportunity to an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Computer Graphics Artist Apprentice (CG) to be an integral part of the Design/VFX Team, in support of our Turner Sports partners. Working under the guidance and collaboration of Turner Sports' creative team, the Apprentice CG Artist is trusted to collaborate on sports projects; to elevate concepts through independent thinking, strategic perspective, and inspirational design. NBA, MLB, NHL, Bleacher Report – these are some of the properties you'd be working on every day. The WarnerMedia Studios Apprentice program is a two-year termed program where selected candidates are challenged to grow as digital artists through the development of creative, technical, and soft skills.
Candidates will have working knowledge and experience with the foundations of design and CGI essentials such as creative thinking, an understanding of color and motion theory, modeling/texturing, 3d lighting and rendering, project file structure and management, along with interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

THE DAILY
• Act as a trusted contributor to our Sports partners throughout the entire project lifecycle – ideation and production through final delivery
• Concept, design and execute creative assets in support of our Sports partners utilizing tools such as Maya, Cinema4d and Arnold/VRay, Substance Painter/Designer and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate with fellow craftspeople in Composite, Editorial and Design/VFX
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and support creative teams as needed
• Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
• Manage personal and project time frames and complete assigned tasks on schedule
• Demonstrate risk taking and innovation and push skills by looking for creative opportunities in each task

THE ESSENTIALS
• Demo reel of current work
• Relevant experience in fast-paced environment, television post-production preferred
• Solid Maya and/or Cinema4d generalist skills
• Strong knowledge of the Adobe tools (Photoshop, After Effects)
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Able to perform under very tight deadlines
• Meticulous organization and categorizing skills
• Ability to prep material per a designer or creative director's instructions
• Ability to work with a team
• Self-motivated/ Takes initiative / Intuitive
• Time management skills
