The Job

Benefits Coordinator, is responsible for notifying and helping employees enroll in the company benefits program(s). Their duties include entering employee information in the healthcare database, sending out eligibility/termination notices, answering employee questions, process enrollments, filing, verifies insurance billing, maintains employee database.

The Daily
• Entering start/closes/address changes and filing
• Answering employee questions.
• Processing enrollments.
• Sending out notices (mail/email).
• Vendor insurance payment/billing.
• Working on special projects as assigned.

The Essentials
• General working knowledge of benefits administration and/or processing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks while remaining production and professional.
• Ability to think creatively, multi-task and to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to identify issues and problem solve in a timely manner.
