The Job

This position assists the Merchandise Planner for the commercial retail department of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. This position is responsible for analyzing the retail sales and forecasting for re-orders of product. The Assistant Merchandise Planner will focus on the accuracy and integrity of our inventory system. They will create reports and partner with the Merchandise Planner to ensure stores stay in stock.

The Daily
• Provide regular and on-going analysis of business to planner by sku, intellectual property, vendor and product type. Maintains weekly sales reports, sharing with cross-functional business partners. Works with planner on forecasting.
• Assists planner in managing purchase orders and re-orders including production and in-hand dates. Coordinates with logistics for routing, shipping and deliveries. Assists planner in maintaining data and integrity of APTOS merchandising and POS system. Works with Warner Bros. IT team to develop promotions and problem solve. Tracks invoice payments, communicates with Accounts Payable and vendors as necessary.
• Coordinates with stores, warehouse and planner on cycle counts, price changes and inventory corrections.
• Assists Buyer with product development submissions through ''Starlabs'' and sends samples to Consumer Products.
• Partners with store visual and merchandise manager on maintaining the planogram fixture book and data. Manages inventory of non-inventory skus such as guide books, shopping bags and register supplies, and e-comm packaging, places orders as necessary.

The Essentials
• Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration, or Fashion
• 1-2 years in retail
• Passionate about data-driven decision-making and an ability to present concise and actionable insights.
• Loves to work with numbers and figures; analyses and reports are familiar territory.
• Has extensive experience working with MS Office, in particular Excel.
• Efficiently organizes workload, ensuring deliverables are accurate, ready on time and prioritized accordingly.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces collaboration and acts proactively. Takes ownership of the quality of work and achievements and strives to find practical solutions.
