The Path Forward Returnship program at WB Games is a 6 month paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to individuals who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent. If you meet these criteria, we welcome you to apply.

The Job

WBG SD is looking for an Animator to work with the Lead Animator, Creative Director, engineering, design, and art teams to bring our creations to life. Leverage your creative expertise and passion for high quality animation in this exciting opportunity.

The Daily
• Create stylized key-frame animations using Maya/Max, etc
• Ensure the timely completion of animations at the desired quality bar
• Actively share knowledge within area of expertise and influence other related disciplines
• Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques and reviews

The Essentials
• 3+ years of experience as an animator in a professional environment
• Expert level skills using relevant software - Maya, Max, Unreal, etc
• Knowledge of traditional animation principles
• Transparent communicator - both written and verbal
• Be a self-motivated team-player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Proven time management skills with the ability to be self-sufficient
• Able to work as part of a large or small group and collaborate with the extended team
• Must have demo reel link on resume
