The Job
The CW Network is seeking a Mult-iplatform Account Services Representative to work closely with account executives to position and manage existing and new clients. This role maintains relationships with advertising agencies and clients on a variety of sales support and client management activities.
The Daily
• Work closely with account executives, advertising agencies, and clients to ensure The CW is successful in achieving sales revenue goals and objectives.
• This role will assist in the maintenance of deals and carry out terms of any/all agreements with individual clients.
• Formulate, negotiate, and sell scatter packages to smaller New York based advertising clients who are the direct responsibility of the NY Mult-iplatform Sales team throughout the broadcast year.
• Make client calls to advertising agencies to update clients on The CW utilizing sales research presentations, one sheets, etc.
• Solve short term inventory needs, moves, flips and inventory change requests from agencies.
• Serve as liaison between CW Traffic and agencies to resolve any scheduling discrepancies.
• Follow up with agency clients to inform them of scheduling/programming changes and for possible re-expressions and make-good opportunities.
• Secure digital assets to ensure on time launch of full episode video campaigns.
• Steward both linear and FEP deals to deliver audience guarantees. Provide post analyses to agencies upon request.
• Develop sales planning costs for agency clients for future business
• Entertain Advertising Agency Clients to further enhance working relationships.
• Serve as mentor to Sales Analysts.
The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years in media or media sales-related business.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of staff.
• Must have strong project management skills and communication skills.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to maintain confidentiality, and pay close attention to detail.
• Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully see projects/tasks through to completion.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
