Your New Role...

The Technology & Operations team is building media technology and IT systems that meet the world class standard for which WBD is known. T&O builds, implements and maintains the business systems and technology that are critical for delivering WBD's products, while articulating the long-term technology strategy that will enable Discovery's growing pay-tv, digital terrestrial, free-to-air and online services to reach more audiences on more platforms. We are looking to fill a UC Engineer role on our team.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Reporting to the Director – Workforce Technology, the UC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all AV, VTC and Phone issues are supported, manage in-house AV equipment in conference rooms, handles TV (IPTV) systems within office, main contact for major event preparation, Zoom Phone management, and technical operation for all live events. This role will also provide guidance and design recommendations for all Discovery offices, purchase necessary equipment, install, and provide ongoing support. Aid in development and documentation of UC standards ensuring all specialized rooms are maintained, IPTV and Phone systems are operational, and overall quality of building is maintained using both internal and external resources. Customer service is a top priority for this position. Also will act as a liaison to Corporate Communications for in-house events or advising external vendors.

Qualifications & Experiences...
• College degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a UC support role.
• Experience with audio-visual conference room/presentation equipment required. HDMI interface from Mac and PC.
• Experience with live event set up, staging and production required. Experience with microphone systems, Public Address (PA) speaker systems, audio mix boards, video conferencing technology, video camera and lighting.
• Experience and knowledge of working with multiformat video standards (PAL, NTSC, SECAM).
• Ability to make/solder audio and video connectors/cables. Experience designing, wiring, and building video and audio systems within rack ''elevations.''
• Experience with video encoding systems and webcasting using Workplace, Zoom & Live Stream
• Experience with Cable TV and IPTV systems
• Proficiency with Zoom, MS Office, Service Now (or similar ticketing system), and Visio software tools required.
• VoIP (Zoom) knowledge and implementation experience preferred

This position is required to work in person at one of our locations in the United States.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $87,220.00 - $161,980.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
