At Warner Bros. Games San Francisco we are bringing to life some of the world's most iconic characters, stories, and universes. Come help us build a world-class studio and take leading entertainment franchises to 1.2 billion mobile gamers. We are committed to creating fun and engaging games for our fans and are positioning ourselves to be a top player in mobile.

The Job

As a key part of WB Games, a Technical Live Producer is responsible for managing multiple programs of work, orchestrated across a wide spectrum of teams from early product definition and design all the way through to release, utilizing a variety of development methods. On the Business side, we require experience shipping multiple products across multiple platforms, all while making the thoughtful trade-offs required to deliver a product that aligns with stakeholder expectations, in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to diagram workflows, and lead focused team meetings. In this role relationship building skills are equally, if not more important than engineering aptitude. This role will work across internal and external organizations, with each cross-functional team that contributes to the success of the org and game titles.

The Daily
• Collaborate with Product and Publishing to coordinate with third party developers and drive planning efforts in support of new features/products integration/implementation.
• Proactively lead technical projects in a solution-oriented fashion.
• Manage multiple projects within a larger project portfolio end-to-end, including the Analytics, Compliance, Product, Development and QA phase.
• Establish tracking project milestones and metrics for program level status reporting.
• In this role, early requirements may not be well-defined, and depending on various factors, they may change frequently. The successful candidate will maintain flexibility during uncertainty and be able to drive teams through this phase until scope is clearly defined and well understood by all team members.

The Essentials
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of gaming experience running multiple technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and problem resolution within a cross-functional team.
• Ability to work within multiple projects and engineering frameworks. (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, Lean, etc.)

The Nice To Haves
• Asian languages (speak, read and write - especially Mandarin) ability is a HUGE plus.
• Familiarity with APAC mobile games market.

How We Get Things Done…

This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day. We hope they resonate with you and look forward to discussing them during your interview.
