The Job
WBD is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic tax function. As a multinational media and entertainment business, the Tax Manager will be involved in complex tax issues spanning federal, state, and limited international issues. This role will focus mainly on an assigned division of WBD and is expected to research and develop deep tax technical skills related to specific industry issues and broad tax concepts. This role will be involved in both preparation and review of tax calculations and tax returns for both corporations and partnerships. In addition, this role will be assisting WBD's co-source 3rd party accounting firm as it relates to compliance and reporting.

The Daily
• Maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned companies
• Manage the preparation and review federal and state income tax compliance returns by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely filing. Includes the preparation and review of estimate and extension calculations
• Update projections based on business forecasts and prepare and review quarterly tax accounting submissions
• Continue to develop a system/approach to ensure the accuracy and completeness of work papers for all tax return positions
• Assist with support and documentation to federal and state IDR requests
• Assist in researching and resolving technical tax issues
• Drive innovation and transformation within tax compliance through continue process improvement and automation
• Assist with strategic projects

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant work experience in similar capacity
• Strong analytical skills and ability to discuss relevant matters with other members of the tax department and auditors where necessary
• Good communication skills and proven ability to develop strong professional relationship with internal and external parties
• High level of attention to detail
• Advanced computer software skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel and Alteryx, as well as accounting packages (Peoplesoft and HFM)
• Knowledge of OneSource Income Tax Compliance is a plus
