Job Description
Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers,product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides services under five core functions: Privacy Operations, Compliance and Assurance, Privacy Data Governance, Privacy Service Center, and Compliance Projects.

The team is a part of Warner Bros. Discovery Technology & Operations, sitting alongside core HR, Financial, Legal and Data systems as an enterprise service. Privacy needs run across the entire enterprise, and the team is set up to deliver globally.

We are currently seeking a Sr Privacy Analyst Vendor Configuration to coordinate across Legal, Tech and Brand teams and ensure WBD's privacy solutions are configured in line with legal, vendor and platform requirements.

In this role, you will:
• Analyze WBD data use cases and 3 rd party vendors
• Document research findings and scalable procedures
• Work with brands to drive compliant product configurations

Applicants to this role should expect to work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, and product and technology stakeholders on data-driven governance and compliance initiatives across Warner Bros Discovery's business.

What will you be doing?

Analyze data use cases across WBD and its 3 rd party vendors
• Conduct research on industry vendor solutions and provide recommendations to senior
• leadership and legal
• Conduct direct discovery with brand teams to identify which vendors and tracking technologies
• they are utilizing for their consumer products and what services are being provided.
• Develop and review vendor identification and classification reports
• Evaluate and centralize vendor use cases across the organization
• manage end-to-end privacy review and implementation for WBD's third party partners.

Centrally manage documentation related to research, process and guidance
• Document repeatable guidance
• Document review processes
• Identify and document all data use and sharing use cases with third parties.
• Product level vendor mapping & configuration, in conjunction with product and legal teams
• centralization of vendor use cases
• classification of vendors
• conducting research on industry vendor solutions
• development of technical configuration guidance

Work with brands and attorneys to drive compliant product configurations
• Coordinate directly with Legal to determine classification of vendors by service provided and
• individual use case.
• Evaluate and provide guidance to brands on technical back-end vendor configurations within
• the CMP (e.g., OneTrust) to appropriately pass consent elections.
• Draft, update and publish business-facing guidance
• Provide subject matter expertise on how WBD brands work with major technology vendors
• Understand and articulate business and legal requirements for vendor tools
• Drive development, adoption, and implementation of the enterprise vendor privacy program
• implementing regular compliance checks across WBD brands and client teams

What do we require from you?
• 2+ years in Technology or Compliance related field
• Technical knowledge about websites and/or mobile applications
• Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures, controls, and guidelines
• Privacy knowledge and/or willingness and enthusiasm to dig into privacy issues
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times, even with the most routine tasks.
• Fluent business English
• Willingness to navigate steep learning curve

Skills Required
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Technology savvy and capable of issue spotting privacy problems
• Proactivity to identify issues and propose mitigations
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Basic JavaScript and Google Tag Manager knowledge
• Understanding of cookies/SDK function
• Knowledge of OneTrust Cookie Module advantageous
