This role is part of the product team that drives forward product features and strategic initiatives that supports the Warner Bro's Discovery's Data Platform. Product Managers have skills and expertise based on product management, complex data analysis, and are expected to have deep industry knowledge across data management, privacy & consent, and audience targeting in general. We engage deeply with customers, partners, and field organizations to identify market opportunities and break complex problems down into actionable roadmaps. Serving as the critical bridge between our technology and our business, we touch nearly every part of the organization - from our Sales and Services teams to Engineering, Marketing, and Design. We are encouraged to experiment, build, fail fast, and think creatively and holistically in order to create game changing technology innovations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for build and roll-out of a portfolio of consumer data oriented features to enable data monetization and activation, supporting advertising, marketing, customer experience and other enterprise needs
2. Own the vision and roadmap for a suite of data features and capabilities
3. Responsible for the success of consumer data products/platforms through design, development and execution of the product roadmap
4. Engages directly with both internal and external customers, assess the competitive marketplace to define the 1P and 3P data, data enrichment and integration needs
5. Quickly grow into and play the 'subject matter expert', to provide the thought leadership and influence business roadmaps
6. Leads cross functional teams to ensure product adoption and drive results. Drive product/feature utilization by evangelizing the value of our products/services to achieve buy-in and manage expectations.
7. Collaborate with other product and client groups, understand the business problems, translate into product features and influence the business roadmaps
8. Build and lead team of product managers and provide the direction
9. Identify the 1P and 3P data and data enrichment needs to maintain and expand our data platform supporting multiple data capabilities including Identity spine/graph
10. Articulate and document the business needs, business value and time criticality for work prioritization and timely delivery
11. Manage the work and collaborate with Technical teams for successful delivery of projects
12. Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders in developing data methodologies to enrich data for business needs
13. Ensure the privacy and consent compliance throughout the data product life cycle
Qualifications:
• 8+ years' experience working with data & analytics – data warehouse, data mart, data integration, data analysis, is a critical requirement
• 2+ years of resource management experience
• Desired 4+ years of experience in Product Development and/or Product Management, preferably with Advertising or Marketing focus
• Desired experience in agile and lean startup product management processes
• Working knowledge of AdTech and MarTech in the context of D2C products
• Entrepreneurial drive, ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate the delivery across different groups and levels in the organization
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Ability to work with uncertainty, proactively anticipate and mitigate risks
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical fields (Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $130,200.00 - $241,800.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
